Who Is This Guy?

Who is the Guy?  What makes him tick?  What are his thoughts on: The Internet?  Nerd Culture?  Philosophy?  Politics?  Religion?  Um... Cats?  Is he a Whovian?  Sherlockian?  D&D Fanatic?  Just who is the Guy.

Hello, my name is Kyle, and I am the Lehigh Valley Guy.  You may refer to me as Mr. Guy (although the name Kyle Beers echos throughout the internet like the Doctor echos throughout the Universe).  I am a nerdy, geeky, twenty-something who enjoys long walks (and not just on the beach to), deep conversations, and good laughs.  I'm not a clock or a steampunk automaton, so I don't tick like a clock (I'm betting that joke will fall flat)

The Internet:  It's cool, I certainly enjoy it, might make me some money someday.  Plus it gives me the ability to learn, look at boobs and kittens whenever I want, and waste people's time with this blog.

Nerd Culture:  I am a Whovian, Sherlockian, D&D Fanatic, Zelda Fanatic (Triforce tattoo pending), somewhat interested in science, some sciences more than others (I passed Chemistry by one point in High School, with a 67.  I am proud of that D-!)  I know my way around both a Windows and a Mac.

Philosophy/Religion:  Might bore you if you let me talk about this for way too long.  Mainly Stoicism, Buddhism, I think that sums it up without becoming SuperAnnoying, the superhero that bores his foes to death!  I have another blog called Under the Stoa is you are interested in philosophy and religion and other things that tie the room together.

Politics: Jesus I don't wanna be a candidate for Vietnam or Watergate, cuz all I want to do is BICYCLE BICYCLE.....  Okay, definitely more liberal than anything else, but I lean more to the right that some liberals, and I definitely have some major things I support, like GLBT rights, or, as I like to call them, human rights.

Cats: I simply adore them.  At the moment, I do not have any, as both my cat (Addy) and my fiance's cat (Bella) are both up north in the Lehigh Valley.

Whovian: Tenth Doctor fan right here, then again, you never forget your first Doctor.  Cosplayed as him at Comic-Con NY 2012, and met Peter Davison there to.  I also love the Third, Fourth, and Twelfth Doctors.

Sherlockian:  Recently introduced, love the series!

D&D Fanatic:  Big Mystara and Eberron guy.  Working on my own campaign setting right now, might self publish it.  Also plays Dystopia Rising Table-Top (and might join the LARP), Pathfinder, GURPS, Ryutama, and Talisman.  Deeply interested in Warhammer, Thieves world, and WoD.

A TEN FACTS THINGY FROM TUMBLR THAT I DECIDED TO POST HERE TO

1) I can’t wait till I get my first tattoo, first of a few.
2) I have both apiphobia and spheksophobia, the fears of bees and wasps respectively.
3) I also have social anxiety, can’t wait to see how I work up the courage to send this to ten people I follow XD
4) Now for something completely different: I am hopelessly afflicted by insatiable wanderlust, and I will travel the world one day.
5) Not a lot of things phase me really, the only things that really do are like Lovecraftian Eldritch Abomination-level things, and loneliness.
6) I sometimes consider myself very ugly, yet sometime I consider myself pretty damn sexy.  Self-Esteem paradox?
7) Alongside my addiction to travel, I am addicted to TV Tropes, and link to it a lot on my main blog, musingsofalehighvalleyguy.blogspot.com (shameless plug).
8) I know how to save lives and to take life away.  I am a GOD HAHAHAHA *goes mad with power* (this is because I am skilled in First Aid/CPR and took an EMT class, yet to take the test for it, and I know Hapkido, which taught me a few ways to kill someone).
9) I am running out of facts to write about so I will type a few words that will go like bingle-bongle-dingle-dangle lippity-do lippity-da ping-pong lippy-tapy-too-ta (translation: proud Whovian here)
10) For the past two months I have been working on a fictional setting for both a role-playing campaign setting and for novels, although I don’t see myself really being an author, but I will show off the setting to the world one day.
